Greetings from the Chairman

Hi, I am May Yang, the chairperson of Wellington Chinese Language School. Welcome to our school!

Our school is the oldest community-based school teaching Mandarin Chinese in New Zealand., beginning in 1972. We have a very enthusiastic committee and a team of very experienced teachers, all of them are Chinese native speakers.

We are all passionate about the Chinese culture as well as the language. We also introduce Chinese singing, dancing, cooking, painting, calligraphy and the celebration of Chinese festivals. Our dance troupe has performed at many local events.

Our school has been going from strength to strength. We are committed to continuing to introduce people to the wonders of Chinese language and culture.
